Michael Hammond
With over 25 years of dedicated service as a police officer, Lieutenant Michael Hammond has committed his career to protecting and uplifting the community of Modesto. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Stanislaus. Michael has also coached junior and high school softball. His passion for working with youth and building safer neighborhoods has guided his involvement with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County, particularly at the West Modesto Teen Center, where he has seen firsthand the positive impact the Club has on kids’ lives.
As a member of the Board of Directors, he is honored to support an organization that empowers young people to reach their full potential. Michael remains dedicated to serving the youth and families of Modesto through both his professional role and his continued involvement in community initiatives. He is also on the Board of Directors for Seeds of Dignity. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family, including his nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
