Francine Foley
Francine Foley is the Executive Director and Development Director of the Golden Valley Health Centers Foundation. She is responsible for leading fundraising, resource development, donor relations, and overseeing all Foundation operations. In 1999, she transitioned from a 20-year career as a Medical Assistant to lead fundraising efforts for the Parent Resource Center, a child abuse prevention agency in Modesto. She was soon promoted and served as their Executive Director for the next seven years.
In 2007, Francine began her work with United Way of Stanislaus County and the Mother Lode as Chief Operations Officer. She later became Interim President/CEO in 2009 and officially took on the role of President/CEO in 2010. Under her leadership, United Way underwent a successful transformation, including facilitating over $1 million in funding during the COVID-19 pandemic to support Stanislaus County residents. Francine has also served as the Past President of Modesto North Rotary, is a former member of Modesto Metro Rotary, and currently serves as the Chair of the Board for Enrich and Employ. She is also the Past Chair of the Stanislaus Community System of Care and has contributed to many local committees and collaborative efforts.
Francine has always admired the work of the Boys & Girls Clubs and their deep commitment to supporting youth. She believes the best way to ensure a successful and healthy future for all is by investing in young people through the Club’s programs. With over 25 years in the nonprofit sector, Francine remains passionate about strengthening her community. She is married to Steve Foley, and they enjoy traveling together in their free time. She has two adult children and is a proud grandmother.
